During October and November there will be series of consultation workshops in Birmingham and Nottingham to debate and discuss Arts Council England’s next ten year strategy.

Arts Council have been developing their thinking drawn from insights from the Conversation they ran earlier this year as well as a wide body of evidence. This has helped them develop a set of strategic outcomes that will help inform priorities for the next ten years. The workshops will test Arts Council’s thinking so far.

The workshops aim to bring together people with different perspectives on culture, including individual artists and practitioners, those from education, local government, organisations who work with children and young people, community focussed organisations, support organisations and arts organisations, museums and libraries.

The workshops are invite-only, and those registering their interest in attending should note:

Independent practitioners: If you are an independent artist/ creative practitioner, register your details to attend.

Organisations: Places are limited to two per organisation. Attendees should be the Director/CEO or Chair/Trustee of their organisation.

There will be also be networking event with lunch provided between the morning and afternoon sessions from 12.45-1.15pm.
