Contemporary artist Alex Hartley visits Hereford College of Arts to talk about his fascinating artistic practice and the importance of ‘place’, in a Meadow Arts event.

Alex Hartley is a UK based artist whose work aims to destabilise our ideas of iconic architecture and nature. He has created ambitious works of land-art, intended to test our notions of utopia, the individual, and the critical relationship we have with the environment, questioning how we occupy the world’s wild places.
