As part of the Coventry Biennial of Contemporary Art, Class Room will be exhibiting recent paintings by James Faure Walker (born London 1948). He studied at St Martins (1966-70) and the Royal College of Art (1970-1972), and has exhibited widely at home and overseas.

Noted for its lyricism and exuberant colour, Faure Walker’s work has integrated computer graphics with painting since the 1980s. In 1998 won the ‘Golden Plotter’ prize at Computerkunst in Gladbeck, Germany. His 2006 book ‘Painting the Digital River: How an Artist Learned to Love the Computer’, won a New England Book Show Award. Hi
