Don’t Settle are commissioning a textile artist to create two separate textile pieces of 1m by 2.4m to hang vertically on display in the entryway of Soho House. The first piece must be a visual interpretation of innovation that the House connects to in the past – such as its changing state as a house or Matthew Boulton’s contribution to the industrial revolution. The second piece must refer to innovation in contemporary Handsworth up to the present day, referring especially to the wider community.
